SIC Branding and AR Filters

This project was to create branding and AR filters for the 2024 Seattle Interactive Conference which caters to creatives, marketers and people in the design/tech space. The initial concept for the rebrand came from a sketch that was done for the filters - the client liked that look so much he wanted to expand it to the full conference branding for the year. The concept was then coined 'work in progress,' which is a reskin and reimagining of the brand's block elements. The thought is that this is a familiar idea that all creatives can relate to: that imperfect sketch that is good enough to get the idea down and sell the concept, which in this case was true on multiple levels.
The brand then was expanded across various touch points including posters, digital assets, social assets, website landing graphic, and the AR filters. The filters were designed as an interactive activation piece within the conference to gain engagement and get people talking and sharing their experience on social media.
Two filters were developed for this purpose:
One being a straightforward branding filter where users could share their intention for connecting - whether they're looking for work, hiring, or just wanting to network. These would be tagged and re-shared out by the conference.
The second filter was more of a fun conversation piece that pokes at Seattle, with specific stereotypes of people you'll see in your visit like the coffee snob or the sock and sandals guy.
