Just Cruizin Logo

This project was to re-design of the logo for a clothing brand company called Just Cruizin. This company was found in 1985 in South Africa and they offer a range of casual, beachwear clothing. The goal was to develop a logo that fits within their vision for the clothing design with a description of "nostalgic comfort with an effortless balance of simplicity and style." I also wanted the logo to reflect the easy going nature and feel of the beach culture in South Africa. I provided a range a logo options that all fit within these boundaries but each pushed different style and overall feel. The selected option (below) was the concept I recommended. I thought it achieved their goals with a simplistic execution of a sunset coastline with flowing waves, paired with a san-serif typeface all maintaining a single line weight to reinforce the balance throughout.
