Hello
My name is Keith and I am a graphic designer & illustrator based out of the Boston area. My passion is in creative problem solving. I love it when you can find a visual solution that fits the balance between working within the necessary boundaries and pushing against them to create something unexpected & meaningful. I think the true key in great design or illustration is distilling its pure purpose or story and building upon that with intentional visuals to represent and support the idea.
I've been a designer for over 6 years, working on wide range of projects and disciplines in print and digital media. I am always looking to push myself into uncomfortable areas in order to grow as a designer and a person.
Experience
Motiv Design
Senior Designer (2019 – Present)
Designer / Creative Coordinator (2017 – 2019)
Graphic Designer (2015 – 2017)
Design Intern (2014 – 2015)
Through the many years I've been with Motiv, I have learned quite a bit working on an extensive range of projects with many different client industries. I started as an intern and moved up to a graphic designer, designer/creative coordinator, and where I currently am now, as a senior designer. Over this time I worked with a full design team, lead by creative directors and along with other designers to collaborate on a
brand identities, communication, packaging, and merchandising.
I have been the account lead with a few clients including Finally, iRobot, & Canidae where I worked directly with the management teams and project leads to help facilitate and manage all their design needs. For Canidae in particular, this meant me traveling to their office out of state, once a week for over 6 months and working directly with the team for all their design needs including developing/implementing their new branding identity. With this close partnership, I brought back important brand knowledge and insight to the greater Motiv team as we've collaborated on larger projects for this client.
L'Elite Magazine
Design Intern (2012)
I worked underneath the creative director to design magazine spreads, logos, editorials, campaigns, and all other facets for the fall issue for the magazine. I helped with the whole creative process from developing article ideas, promotion concepts, and ways of increasing sales for the magazine.
Education
University of Massachusetts Lowell
BFA Graphic Design (2012 Graduation)
I worked on a large range of projects within many disciplines including logo development, branding, poster creation, website design & development, advertising campaigns, packaging creation, infographics, magazine layout, & many more.
